  • A completed application form via this link. You may wish to review the questions you will be asked before completing your application. A template of the form can be found here for reference only.

  • A copy of a recent transcript from your undergraduate degree uploaded via the application form above. This can be a screenshot from your self-service/student portal but must include your name, University logo, as well as your current grades. Up to 5 files can be uploaded.

Academic Reference

You must provide details of an academic referee on your application form. When you submit your application, your referee will receive an automatic request to complete a reference template form. Please ensure you discuss your application with your referee before submitting your application.

Your referee will be asked to comment on the following:

- Your academic performance, academic potential and motivation

- Your suitability for postgraduate study/research

- Your suitability for the programme

Your referee must be a member of university academic staff, for example a tutor, advisor or professor, who knows and can comment on the above. References from anyone else will be returned and your application will not be taken forward.

Who should apply?

Primarily we are looking for students who wish to pursue postgraduate degrees and/or those who may not have had the opportunity to acquire significant research experience.

The Cam REPPS Programme aims to widen participation in postgraduate education at the University of Cambridge, by using positive action under the Equality Act 2010, where appropriate, to tackle the underrepresentation of certain groups.

Shortlisted candidates may be invited to interview by the project supervisor and will be contacted directly. All applicants will be advised of the outcome of their application in the week commencing 20 April (at the latest).
